Welcome
to the Walter Mace Chapter of the Vergers' Guild of the Episcopal
Church. The Mace Chapter is comprised of over 100 vergers from 32
parishes throughout the Diocese of Texas. The purpose of the Chapter is
to promote a greater awareness of the servant ministry of vergers in
the Diocese of Texas and to provide support, training, education, and
fellowship to the vergers who practice their ministry therein. Reminder

Patricia Shepherd.
Verger Installation
July 20th
Trinity - The Woodlands
All vergers are invited to attend, vest and process at the 11:00 am service
to install our newest verger.
Please arrive by 10:30 am to vest.
Trinity is located at 3901 S. Panther Creek Drive, The Woodlands.

Meeting
September 20
St. George's and St. Patrick's - Houston
Our next meeting will be September 20 at St. George's and St. Patrick's in Houston from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm. Mary McGregor,
director of the Diocese of Texas Iona Institute, will be our speaker.
Lunch will be served at the beginning of the meeting at a suggested donation of $5 each. Please RSVP to
Peggy Metcalf.
